Effective: July 5, 2026 · GutCall LLC (Colorado, USA)
GutCall is built privacy-first. The core idea: the game is pseudonymous by design, so we can run it without knowing who you are. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have.
We do not sell your personal information, and we never share an identifiable player's performance with anyone unless you explicitly ask us to (see the Talent Program note below).
We may later offer an optional program in which strong players can ask us to introduce their verified performance record to trading firms or funding partners. If we do: it will be strictly opt-in, limited to players 18 or older, governed by its own agreement shown at enrollment, and nothing will be shared until you enroll and ask us to share it. Leaderboards and ratings remain pseudonymous for everyone else, always.
We use Google AdMob (in the app) and Google AdSense (on this website) to show ads. Where required, we ask for your consent (Google's consent flow) before an advertising identifier or advertising cookies are used for personalized ads. If you decline, you'll see non-personalized ads and the game works the same. On the web, Google may set cookies to serve and measure ads; you can opt out of personalization at Google Ads Settings. We do not use Apple's App Tracking Transparency and do not track you across other apps or websites. See Google's partner policy.
Depending on where you live (e.g., GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA/CPRA in California, the Colorado Privacy Act), you can request access to, export of, or deletion of your data, and opt out of ad personalization. To make a request, email privacy@playgutcall.com and include the Privacy code shown at the bottom of the in-app Stats screen — it identifies your record and proves the request comes from your device (a leaderboard name alone is public and can't verify you). In-app "Delete my data" / "Export my data" controls will ship with the app-store release.
What deletion covers: deleting your data removes your player record, account information, and the link between your device and your gameplay history — including purging your rows from retained research extracts, or destroying the key that links research rows to players, so remaining research data is no longer attributable to you. Research datasets that are aggregated, or pseudonymized in this way, are retained; we commit to never attempting to re-identify them.
GutCall is a general-audience game for players 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the app, contact us and we'll remove the data.
We keep pseudonymous gameplay data for research and product improvement. Any account information is kept only while your account is active plus a limited period. We use encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices to protect data.
We share data only with service providers that help us run the app (e.g., ad, hosting, and analytics providers) under data-processing agreements, or where required by law.
We'll post updates here and change the effective date. Material changes will be highlighted in the app.
